JOSE ALCANTAR
Jose Alcantar first became serious about music while in school. He was involved in the school band and later formed his own rock and roll band. His first production gigs were recording demos for local bands at the age of 15. By his early twenties, he had a full-time job at 4th street studios in Santa Monica, which quickly led to an offer to work in the studios at Interscope Records. Jose continues to work for Interscope Studios as a Freelance Engineer/Mixer and Consultant.
Jose has worked with many major label artists, including The All American Rejects, Blue October, Something Corporate, 50 Cent, New Found Glory, Jack’s Mannequin, Linkin Park, Stained, and The Doobie Brothers, to name a few. No matter the genre, Jose enjoys everything about making a great record.
